Why You Should Not Delete Posts When Involved in Personal Injury Cases?

You already have been told to be careful what you post when you’re involved in a car accident and file a lawsuit. But has anybody ever told you what you shouldn’t post when you’ve been in a lawsuit?

Hi, I’m Frank Nunes. I’m a California personal injury trial attorney practicing in the State of California. I always caution my clients. Be careful what you post on social media once you have a car crash. Be careful what you friend and the people that you get involved with, but nobody ever reminds you to be careful and not delete prior posts on your social media account.

Now, why is that important? Because there’re software and I’ve seen it used by investigators and insurance companies who have hired these investigators and they can pull up deleted posts. Sure, oftentimes the deleted posts are harmless, but they give the appearance that you’re hiding something. And in this day and age, when you have a personal injury case, especially when there’s no visible injuries, you need to come across as being as forthright and honest as possible.

Well, that does it for today’s video on why you shouldn’t delete social media posts. By the way, if you found this information useful, subscribe to our YouTube channel. Why? So you can get updates as we post more great new content and educational videos. And if you have questions I want you to pick up the phone and call me since I can answer those questions. I answer questions like this all the time. You can reach me at (559) 436-0850.

I’m Frank Nunes and thanks for watching.
